Lunar Drive-in

The Lunar Drive-In is a popular and thriving entertainment venue situated at Dandenong in Melbourne's South-East. The site is one of the oldest Drive-In still operating in Australia, opening in 1956. It is also the largest, featuring 4 screens with sealed and ramped fields accommodating 700 car spaces.

The Drive-In was reopened in 2002 by David and Matthew Kilderry, and the site has gone from strength to strength, and chose to reinvest by providing an entirely new Cafe and Amenities Core, Field extensions, additional Entry lanes and Ticket Box. It's the first of this extent in Australia in over 40 years.

The scope was to provide a facility respectful of the Golden Age of Drive-Ins, but with cutting edge facilities and comfort reflecting the Lunar brand values.

Entertainment Architecture is proud to have been associated with this project.
